Why do certain versions of Turbo Tax allow you to import but others you have to wait?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

 &lt;LI&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size:14px"&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif"&gt;Your payroll provider needs to be a&amp;nbsp;&lt;A href="https://support.turbotax.intuit.com/redirect/partners" target="_blank"&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;TurboTax Import Partner&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size:14px"&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif"&gt;Your W-2 must be available for import. Most are ready by February 1 and some are disabled after the filing deadline&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size:14px"&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif"&gt;We need the&amp;nbsp;Box 1&amp;nbsp;amount from your W-2 or the year-to-date YTD gross income from your year-end pay stub&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size:14px"&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif"&gt;In some cases, we'll need the&amp;nbsp;Box d Control Number&amp;nbsp;from your W-2, but&amp;nbsp;only&amp;nbsp;if your payroll provider requires it&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;This is a restriction put in place by the issuer&amp;nbsp; not the TT program.&amp;nbsp; If you can get a PDF of the form yourself you can simply enter it manually.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;It seems like there's a bug. I was able to enter one of my W-2's automatically, but I can't enter the other two. I tried this:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;1. I selected &lt;STRONG&gt;Work on my W-2 &amp;gt; Continue&lt;/STRONG&gt;.&lt;BR /&gt;2. I entered the &lt;STRONG&gt;EIN number&lt;/STRONG&gt;, and clicked &lt;STRONG&gt;Continue&lt;/STRONG&gt;.&lt;BR /&gt;3. I see a "Working" message and the "Please wait," and then this error:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;EM&gt;We recommend you revisit the last topic you were working on to make sure all your info's correct.&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Then, I tried step 1, but for step 2, I did not enter an EIN number, but I see the same error.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I can't go any further. I can't enter the W-2's manually or automatically.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I'm using the &lt;EM&gt;Home and Business&lt;/EM&gt; version.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;That solution definitely does not work. I suspect a glitch in the software/website.&amp;nbsp; I originally uploaded my W2 form and everything was read correctly by TurboTax. At the final review and to my surprise, I was asked to enter all the info manually. So, I went back and deleted my W2, in the hope that a renewed upload would resolve the problem. However, I was then no longer given the option to upload: the upload wizard never appeared. It seems lots of folks have that issue.&amp;nbsp; I tried the solution recommended here: I do not get to the upload wizard, and it does not allow me to proceed.&amp;nbsp; I tried rebooting, different browsers, all to no avail.&amp;nbsp; I gave up and entered everything manually.&amp;nbsp; It seems lots of folks have that problem.&amp;nbsp; TurboTax needs to fix it.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
