When I efiled my Ohio state taxet I forgot to add the estimated taxes I paid last year. Will they automatically fix it for me?

Like an idiot I forgot to add about $500 I payed in estimated taxes last year. Since I only owe $1 (didn't really need to pay the estimations), will Ohio automatically correct my error and give me a refund, or will I need to submit an amended return?

Wait and see ... this is usually an error they will correct automatically. But until the return is fully processed you cannot amend the return to correct the error so just sit tight and see what the state does first ... the "ball" is in their court.

Ohio state will most likely spot the omission when they check against their records and will issue you a refund.
