I thought I was done filing to my surprise, I was not, so i was forced to pay to "File" but I can't even file because NC has to send a form which is not yet available. I wanted to pay for my filing out of my refund, what can I do? Will I have to pay again to finish my taxes?

You did NOT pay to efile ... you paid for the use of the program to complete a return that can be filed. Now when the state is ready to be filed you have already paid the state program fee and will not be charged again.

And the option to pay with your federal refund has an EXTRA $39 fee so be content you did not use that option.

Well that's the thing.. It was $39 for the filing and an extra $44 for the state DYI or whatever they call it, and i still want able to file because after all that, i still need the D form that the state is supposed to send.

These were the charges, these are directly from the receipt I received.

Then you already paid. You can still efile later. And by paying now you locked in the lower prices.

I don't know why you would want to pay out of your refund and pay for the privilege.

It just causes problems for many TurboTax customers

Again you paid for the use of the program to complete a federal and state return and locked in the current reduced price ... the cost goes up as the season progresses. There are no separate efiling fees when using the online version.
