You can check the status of your extension, by logging in...

You can check the status of your extension, by logging into your account, clicking on "Tax Home" on the left hand side and then clicking on "File an Extension" on the bottom left. It will take you to a screen that will tell you if your extension has been accepted.

To check the status of an e-filed return, open up your desktop product or log into your TurboTax Online Account. You can find your status within the TurboTax product and with the IRS here: IRS Website
