    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi community,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;For the 2020 tax year, I was on an F1 visa, but my wife is a US citizen so paper filed, to treat me (NRA) as a RA. Going forward to file jointly with my wife, do we need to continue paper filing, or can we e-file using TurboTax? I read somewhere that TurboTax doesn't offer tax filing for NRA (F1 visa) and they should use Sprintax.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I did also receive my green card halfway through 2021, so I am now a permanent resident, if that changes matters.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
