FORM 2555 for 2020 and COVID-19 Bonafide resident - how to fill out form

Hello,

I am working on 2020 taxes. I had been a bonafide resident in China during the past several years. In December 2019, I returned to the USA and have not been able to return to China. I taught online from the USA for a Chinese school in 2020. According to what I read, I can still be a bonafide resident, since I paid taxes to the Chinese government while I was in the USA in 2020. I used this option, but then I began to get some questions on Form 2555 that I could not answer, such as the following. Please see the attachment.

Here is the error message for the date arrived/left section above. I left on 12/27/2019 and never returned, but I worked the entire 2020 year for the same foreign company from the US.

I think I figured it out. I needed to put down I stayed in the USA for 365 days. That would take me almost thru all of 2020. This took care of the error message.
