No one can see your tax return or your screen. We have no way to know how complete the data was that you entered when you requested your extension. If you did not owe any tax or were getting a refund, you did not even need an extension because you have three years to file if you are getting a refund or do not owe. However, if you owe, you do need to ask for an extension if you cannot file by the deadline, and you needed to pay your estimated tax due by the May 17 deadline. If you have now entered all of your information and you owe, then you need to pay what you owe when you file the return.

If you have federal tax due you can pay by mailing your payment with the 1040V voucher, (which has the address printed on it, having the payment taken out of a designated bank account, or you can pay directly on the IRS website.

Always print a copy of your completed tax return for your records, and review it carefully before e-Filing.
You will need it if you are audited by the IRS, or to amend if a TurboTax update changes your return or for any other reason,
SUCH AS, .... to find out why you owe tax instead of getting a refund.

AND, to find your AGI next year.

If you still can't figure it out, put the paper copy in your desk for three days. Come back and review it again. Inevitably, you will find some error.
