Turbo Tax asks for a cash amount from form 6251 line 35 from my 2917 taxes. this line does exist. There is no line 45 on my 1040 to verify. What do I do?

Line 35 on the 2017 form 6251 is the Alternative Minimum Tax (AMT) which does flow to the 1040 form on line 45.

This form (6251) is not the same for 2018. The Alternative Minimum Tax (AMT) on this year's form 6251 is line 11 which then goes to Schedule 2 line 45. The end result of Schedule 2 goes to the 1040 line 11.
