Efile rejection

I'm helping a young man with his taxes. He didn't file his 2019 taxes until November 2020. We did his taxes on TurboTax free for 2020. It was rejected because of the AGI. According to what I'm reading here, it is because of his late filing. I didn't know it, but he went back and told Turbo Tax to print his return. Can he still try to go back and change his AGI to zero so that he can efile? I'm not seeing where this can be done.
