I have had success importing using the online version but I have the Software version that I installed on my Windows 10 computer and have had a lot of difficulty importing W2 and 1099's. If I could import the documents online and then export them for use on the PC program it would help a lot. I have many 1099's

Yes - While you can't import and export just the W2s and 1099's, you CAN import them into an online return and then download the return and open it in your desktop TurboTax.

After you've imported the W-2s/1099s into your online return, follow these steps to download your return:

While in your return, click on Tax Tools > Tools (in the black bar at the side of your screen).
Under Other helpful links click on Save your 2018 return to your computer
Your online return will be found in the Downloads folder on your computer.
To open the return in TurboTax desktop edition, click on the Find a Tax File link on the opening screen and then navigate to the Downloads folder.
