    <description>&lt;P&gt;I worked in Canada part of last year.&amp;nbsp; I was working as a subcontractor through a US Company.&amp;nbsp; The company reported the Canadian income on both my 1099-Misc and the Canada T4A-NR.&amp;nbsp; Should I report this income in both the Business income and the foreign tax credit Gross Income sections of Turbotax?&amp;nbsp; I paid the 15% withholding in Canada on my income and want to make sure I am not double taxed on the amounts.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>Yes, you would report it in both the Business section and the Foreign Tax Credit section of TurboTax.&amp;nbsp; For the foreign tax credit section, you will need to enter the gross amount of the foreign business income and then enter the business expenses directly related to this income as a Definitely Related Expenses on Form 1116.&amp;nbsp; You will also need to enter the foreign tax you paid in the Foreign Tax Credit section.&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
