W2-G Address Mismatch

Hi,

My gambling winnings W2-G lists my old physical address, and my tax program assumes it's the same address as on my return. Does this mismatch matter? Thanks.

Great, thanks! The funny thing is, I tried the Freefile online version of TT, and it asks if it needs changing, but presumably that's just window dressing.

Window dressing it is - let the program auto fill your current address and use that. As long as it is your SSN on the W-2G, you are good to file.
