&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;the error code means&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;IND-031-04: The primary taxpayer's AGI or Self-select PIN from last year does not match IRS records.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;you can get an online tax return transcript through the IRS website to verify your AGI (your pin does not show)&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;A href="https://www.irs.gov/individuals/get-transcript" target="_self"&gt;https://www.irs.gov/individuals/get-transcript&lt;/A&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;if your AGI matches the online transcript it means that there is likely an error in the IRS database (separate from the transcript).&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;in such a case all you can do is mail in your return.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;you can open your 2019 return to verify if the pin is correct. it's at the bottom of the info worksheet.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
