Starting Turbo Tax 2020. It states it need to update. Won't update. Says to manually update. Down load update [phone number removed] and it will not install because it can not fine Turbo Tax 2020, which is on the F drive. After failing to update, it states it is restarting Turbo Tax. Never does. This happens every update! It takes retrying for anywhere from 2 days to 3 weeks.

I have restarted the computer, stopped any firewalls, closed all programs

You downloaded the manual patch? Try moving the patch to the same directory that the program is in before running it.

Did not work. Ran as admin as well.

Having the TurboTax program on a drive other than C:\ will cause unforeseen issues. You should consider uninstalling the program from the F:\ drive and re-install on C:\

I would also suggest using Revo Uninstaller, a free application, when uninstalling from the F:\ drive as the normal Microsoft uninstall leaves behind files that may interfere with the newly installed program on C:\

This is not a TurboTax recommendation, only a personal one since I have used this in the past when one of the Beta TurboTax programs that when uninstalled interfered with installation of the TurboTax 2020 software.
