I am trying to efile my federal tax return and after completing all the required information the program is looping and will not efile my return. How to I correct this?

When getting unexpected results, the best thing to do is make sure that the program is updating. To do this, log out of your TurboTax program. Close the browser window completely.

Re-open on a Windows 10 PC using a Chrome incognito browser to proceed with e-filing.

With the tax return open, select Review and run through the federal and state reviews again to prepare to e-file.

Other Troubleshooting Ideas:

It may be due to what is being entered for the 2019 Adjusted Gross Income or for the Self-select PIN.
- How do I find last year’s AGI?
  - What if I entered the correct AGI and I’m still getting an e-file reject? You may want to try entering 0 for AGI if you are entering the correct adjusted gross income and it is not going through.
  - TurboTax Online instructions for E-file reject IND-031-04 or IND-032-04: The AGI or Self-select PIN from last year doesn't match IRS records
- The self-select PIN can be re-used. This is not the same as the IP PIN issued annually by the IRS to taxpayers that have experienced identity theft.
  - What is the difference between the five-digit Self-Select PIN I created last year and my Self-Select PIN this year?
