Shared Rent

Hello Community

I am currently renting an apartment in NYC that I share with a roommate. My name is the only name that is on the lease for the apartment. We currently split the expenses for the apartment. We split the rent equally, I pay the rent to the rental corporation and my roommate pays me their portion. Is there any tax forms that I have to file since I am the only person on the lease ? I am not making any profit from the rent payment that I receive from them.

No you will not report your roommates half of the rent as income.
