What do you mean "not allow"? The Federal EIN is a 9 digit number, no more, no less.

When I go to type the letters of the EIN, it keeps on automatically deleting them and won’t allow me to type them in

Delete the W-2 that is being entered. Then enter the W-2 manually.

If the problem persists then clear your tax return and start over.

If you have not paid for the online edition you are using, have not filed your tax return or registered the Free edition, then you can clear your return and start over. Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the program screen while working on the 2020 online tax return. Click on Clear & Start Over.
