In the File section of the program on Step 2 when you have state taxes owed you are given options on how to pay the taxes.

not sure this is in TurboTax payment options but most states allow payment to be set up through its website.

What state? Check the printout or PDF of your return; look for the state cover sheet with the Turbotax logo. If you owed tax, it will show the payment information and how/when you decided to pay. Read the state payment instructions carefully since most states cannot be paid from within the TT system and requires additional steps.

I fill out Iowa taxes, and I have a choice of paying online or writing a check. It depends upon the state.
