Turbo Tax Won't Let Me

I accidentally entered an amount for Foreign Earned Income and Exclusion. I then learned that if I didn't work a certain number of days overseas, I wouldn't get the exclusion. Therefore, I deleted Foreign Income. Yet it shows up in my W-2 Total. I went back to the 2020 Income Summary and I see the Foreign Income. I click update, and answer NO to did I make $$$ outside the USA. Yet the amount still shows and is added to my Wages on Form 1040. How do I get rid of it. If I answered NO, shouldn't it go away? Yes, I saved. Yes, I quit and opened Turbo Tax again. Once again frustration with TT reigns. Help.

It depends.

If in Turbo Tax online to to tax tools>tools>delete a form
If you see form 2555, delete it.
If you are in Turbo Tax software, open it and go to the forms mode
Look for form 2555 and select it
When the form appears on the screen, delete it at the bottom of the page.
Now check to see if the income has disappeared from the W2 total.

Thanks. I ultimately found the form and was able to delete it. Doesn't seem appropriate as answering the Easy Step question NO.
