Did you ask for the TT fees to be withheld from the federal refund ? If so that is the fees for the service.

Or is the missing money the state refund ? The fed & state arrive at different times.

Greetings - I tried to respond but the mailbox was full. I had to pay Colorado taxes and chose to withdraw from my bank account which was done this past Friday 4/2 of $172. Yet my federal tax refund was reduced that amount when I now have paid it, original refund $2896 to $2724. Will I be charged 2x now? Are you able to look at my return or how do I make sure the $172 is only deducted one time? Thanks!

Federal and state are completely separate. You can't have one deducted from the other. So the federal refund was reduced for something else. Were you having the Turbo Tax fees taken out of your refund? That's really odd the state tax due is the same amount the federal refund is reduced.
