This worksheet (Form 1040, Line 6) currently shows "Social Securit Benefits received in 2019". We believe it should be 2020 instead, as that is what data is requested in the Step by Step Instructions.

Our TurboTax version is currently updated as of 3/21/21.

Please let us know which year is accurate.

What exactly are you looking at?

Using the TurboTax desktop editions for 2020 the Social Security Benefits Worksheet in Forms mode shows Line 6 is - Amount from Schedule 1, lines 10 through 19, plus any write-in amounts on Schedule 1, Line 22 (other than foreign housing deduction)

that question relates to when you receive 2019 lump sum benefits in 2020. if not just ignore the question.
