Hi,

I married in November 2020. My spouse has the 1095-a form(same health coverage with his parents), and I have 1095-b (by myself). The tax return only required to fill out the 1095-a form. How will they know the 1095a is just for my spouse? How should I file 1095-b?

Thanks in advance!

Re: I have 1095-b but my spouse have 1095-s. Married in November

No, you do not enter a 1095-B into your tax return.

The 1095-A should have your spouse's name and SSN on the form, so TurboTax will know that the form is only for your spouse, not for both of you. If your spouse parent's are on the same insurance, they will have to meet and agree on the allocation of the insurance for purposes of the Premium Tax Credit.
