The early prices expired on March 1. They do every year. So it should have been $25 last night too.

Did you just update your program since March 1 or 4? The updates come out on Thursdays so March 4 the Desktop price changed. Even though it said $20 it probably charged you the $25.

Thanks, I haven't used the "paid" state e-file before this year and didn't realize it had a promo time. and then went up in price. Also never saw anything saying anything about the price increase.

I was up to date, the screens all said $20 right until the moment had to hit pay.
