really nothing other than you used Turbotax this year.

as to your refund if you're asking

The IRS says that for most taxpayers (like 90%) (who e-filed, requested direct deposit and for which there are no return issues) it takes about 21 days on average from completion of processing. In reality, some take longer. Check your refund status on the IRS website

Since I e filed this year 2021 and was accepted by the irs will they update my information and direct deposit to the servers and since recovery rebate credit is all I filed for and I owe back child support how long do I have to wait to hear anything back or should I call the irs thanks yall

That last reply was as generic as the answers from the "live" tax consultant on here. They tried to keep telling me I got the email because IRS accepted my return. But I got that email 15 days ago. The way this email is worded is as if they are thanking us for getting their payment out of our completed refund. It says enjoy your refund and you are finished. It isn't the end of the world, but it is an added 20 minutes of Bu**sh** I didn't need today

The email you received is congratulating you on completing your taxes with Turbo Tax. You can go to Where's my Refund to track your refund.

How come when I click on track my refund , it says We cannot provide any information about your refund. You must wait at least 24 hours after you get the acknowledgement e-mail that your tax return was received by the … I got a message saying it was accepted by the irs before I checked it so do I just have to wait this is my first time

Yes, once your e-filed return was accepted (received) by the IRS, please wait 24 hours before checking your refund status for the first time on the IRS Where's My Refund site.

Be sure when going to the IRS Where's My Refund? site, that you enter your Social Security number or ITIN, filing status, and the exact amount of your Federal refund only to check your status. Also, if you are filing joint, be sure to enter the persons social security number that appears first on the tax return. The IRS updates the site every day, usually overnight.

So I’ve waited 2-3 days since it said to wait 24hours but still says the same thing as when I first checked it why is that? Saying I have to wait at least 24hours etc
