It helps us connect you with a TurboTax specialist (for product questions) or a tax expert (for tax questions) who is best suited to help with your specific issue. The Support ID can also save you time in our phone system.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;There are 2 ways to get a Support ID:&lt;/P&gt;

 &lt;LI&gt;Visit our&amp;nbsp;&lt;A href="https://support.turbotax.intuit.com/contact/" target="_blank"&gt;Contact us&lt;/A&gt;&amp;nbsp;page. On this page, we'll ask which TurboTax product you’re using and then you can give a description of your issue. You'll then get a Support ID along with the phone number to call us. Write down your Support ID as we might ask you for it when you call.&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;If you call us directly without first visiting the&amp;nbsp;&lt;STRONG&gt;Contact us&lt;/STRONG&gt;&amp;nbsp;page, we'll ask about your issue and then give you a Support ID. Write it down.&lt;/LI&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;got support id number&amp;nbsp; &lt;SPAN&gt;[social security number removed] and it gave me voucher number&lt;/SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;[removed number]&lt;STRONG&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/STRONG&gt;but it doesn't work.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
