Correcting a form prior to mailing

Due to may tax situation, my forms need to be mailed. I completed the forms and printed them, but want to review a deduction and instructions for it I may not be entitled to. I don't need to "amend" my form as they've yet to be mailed. I may need to correct it prior to mailing. How is that done as the only option I see is to amend it?

Do NOT click on Amend! Click on Add a State to let you back into your return.
