Turbo Tax e-File transmission confirmation

I received a electronic confirmation of my VA State S-Corp tax e-file transmission.

Should I also receive confirmation for my Federal tax S-Corp filing? It's been four (4) days.

Yes, you should get one saying it was received.

However, remember that a confirmation saying it was received is not the same as saying it was accepted as an e-filed return. You will still need to wait for it for both of them.

Is there a way to check E-Filing status on tax year 2019 to see if the IRS did receive our taxes filed and payment?

If the IRS received and processed your tax payment it will be listed in your IRS tax account.

Go to this IRS website to sign onto your account - https://www.irs.gov/payments/online-account-for-individuals

If you e-filed your tax return using the TurboTax editions there will be an Electronic Postmark Report available in the PDF download for your 2019 online tax return. The report will show the date/time the tax return was e-filed and the date it was Accepted by the IRS, if Accepted.

To access your prior year online tax returns sign onto the TurboTax website with the User ID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/

Start the 2023 online tax return by entering some personal information then click on Tax Home on the left side of the screen.

On the Tax Home webpage -

Scroll down to the section Your tax returns & documents. Click on the Year and Click on Download/print return (PDF)

If you e-filed the 2019 return using the desktop editions, then you will need to open the 2019 program on your computer and Continue the 2019 return. Then click on Forms. In Forms mode, click on the Postmark Report on the left side of the screen.
