You would not enter the child as a dependent on your tax return if your partner is claiming the child on their tax return.

Right- I'm not entering them as a dependent, but should I include the child on my tax return at all? Are there any benefits to doing so? Or do I waive all credits AND deductions when I waive the dependent claim?

Since you are all living in the same household there is no benefit to you for including the child on your tax return. It may even cause your partner's return to be rejected if you file your return first with the child entered on your return.
