Will the recovery rebate be sent with my regular return or will the irs send it directly.

The Recovery Rebate Credit is included in your total refund. You will receive your total refund amount as one payment with your regular return. Please see line 34 of Form 1040 for your total refund amount.

Check 1040 line 30 for any amounts you didn't get during the year. It will be included in your refund or reduces a tax due.
