Can you tell me how to remove the double entry of my 2020 estimated tax payments?

The exact amount I entered for my federal estimated tax payments for 2020 also incorrectly shows as the amount of my 2019 refund to be applied to my 2020 taxes. This incorrectly shows the amount of estimated taxes I paid to be double the correct number. Can I simply reduce the reported estimated tax payments by half?

don't file an incorrect tax return.

don't tweak amounts paid to IRS to adjust for error (s) on your tax return.

The root problem was that the tax paid during my IRA withdrawal showed up both on the 1099 AND in my manually entered estimated tax payments.
