2020 Step by Step Instructions are wrong for 2019 income questions on TurboTax Home & Business!! Asks for line 10, QBI deduction!!

At least for 2020 Turbo Tax Home & Business (may be other versions as well)

Step by Step Instructions are wrong for 2019 income!!

Software asks for line 10, QBI deduction, instead of line 11b, taxable income.

Line 10 in 2019 is the QBI deduction, which for most people in the US, will be zero.

Line 10 in 2018 was taxable income.

The user instructions for 2020 did not get updated with the new line number from 2019, it is still asking for the 2018 line number.

This could cause a lot of issues when Turbo Tax is calculating 2020 numbers based on zero income in 2019.

Can you help us out by telling us what section this screen is in? Is it in the interview with one of the businesses? If so, which type of business: Sch C, Sch E, K-1s, etc?

We in the Community do not have a way to scan all the screens in the product to find this reference - we would appreciate knowing what section it is in and what the title of the screen is - and did you trigger any special situations to cause this screen to appear?

I found that it is in any area where numbers are being pulled from the 2019 tax return or the form needs information from the 2019 tax return. The program may pull the correct number (if prior return done in TurboTax), however it doesn't match the number on Line 10 on the 2019 1040. Preparing a brand new return for 2020, there will not be any numbers flowing through and a lot of "0"s input for income for 2019.
