This is not a game to me. The government is handing money out like candy. If it is legal for my dependents to file separately and get in line for this candy, I have no problem with them doing so. I am asking from a legal tax position. If you are not a professional tax person, act accordingly. If your not, please disregard my question and leave your comments to yourself.

Thank you.

I have two 19-year-old dependents in college full time. My AGI is over $200K. I save only $1000 having them on my taxes. Would it be better for them to file on their own and then would they be eligible for the stimulus? Their income is around $18K.

You are not allowed to play that game. If you can claim them as dependents, they are not eligible for stimulus payments. It doesn't matter whether you actually claim them or not.
