If you need to change or update your phone number for your TurboTax Account, please see the steps below for assistance:
1. Log in to your account.
2. Click My Account at the top of the screen, and select Account Settings.
3. Select Profile.
4. Click Edit next to the phone number you want to change.

I use the online version of Turbotax. There is nothing available looking like what you mention regarding "My Account" at the top of the screen, or regarding anything else that follows in your answer.

Using TurboTax online, once logged in I see "Intuit Account" in the bottom left. Clicking to that opens a new browser tab to an Intuit account. Which I don't have. Going into "personal information," nothing is filled in, and there's not a space for phone number.

Please give me an answer specific to the online edition.

Go to Personal Information

Near the bottom of the form Edit Mailing Address

The phone number field is in the address screen
