Did your AGI reject? For AGI Reject code 031

If you can’t get it to efile you will have to print and mail it.

Be sure to attach copies of your W2s and any 1099s that have withholding on them. You have to mail federal and state in separate envelopes because they go to different places. Get a tracking number from the post office when you mail them for proof of filing.

I added a dependent that’s had already been filed. I would like to know how to remove the dependent so I can continue to file my taxes.

To remove the dependent, follow these steps.

With TurboTax open select My Info in the left panel.
Scroll down to dependents and remove the dependent.

If you have not already filed your return, then continue with preparing your return. If you have already filed your return and it has been rejected, you will now refile your tax return.

Please follow the steps below to correct your employer EIN:

Log in to your account.
Go to Federal Taxes.
Go to Wages and Income.
Click Edit next to Job (w-2).
Click Edit next to your W-2.
