topic 1041 in Get your taxes done using TurboTax

Can not pass Fed error check at conclusion of Fed return. It tells me TurboTax needs a corrected 1041, Schedule K-1 before continuing. Is this legit?

Can you post the exact error message?

Did you indicate that you needed to file an amended return?

There wasn't any error message. The program reported to me that it is waiting for an updated Federal Form 1041 Schedule K-1 from the government, and until it is released, the program could not advance to filing.

I am questioning the veracity of that report. I am worried that this might be a hacking attempt. I think not, because I have come across information in this regard on the TT site.

Schedule K-1 (1041) is scheduled to be finalized for use in TurboTax on 2/25/2021.
