      <description>&lt;P&gt;I am not completely clear of what you are asking, (please reword your question if this answer is not helpful).&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The state refund will carry-over if you used the program the previous year. If you itemized, the refund may be taxable, but only if you deducted state income tax (not if you deducted state sales tax instead).&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If you did not itemize on your 2017 return, the state refund does not need to be included in income on your 2018 tax return&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
