You will need to log back into your return and then click...

You will need to log back into your return and then click Add a state in order to get back into your return. Once Fully logged in do the following

Click Federal
Click Health Insurance
Select You had insurance all year or I'll pick and choose which months
Click Continue
If applicable, select the Months you had insurance and click continue
Continue through until you get to "Was anyone covered by any of these plans in 2018?"
Answer yes and you will be prompted to enter your 1095-A

You can then go to the print center and print just the 8962

No, I just mailed the 2018 return on oct. 15th. Ijust got my 1095A yesterday

Did you complete the Health Insurance section of the TurboTax program and indicate that you had a Form 1095-A? If not, then you will have to amend your tax return to add the 1095-A and Form 8962 after your tax return has been processed by the IRS and you have received your tax refund or the taxes owed and paid have been processed. Or the IRS will be sending you a letter in the mail requesting the 1095-A and Form 8962, so you would follow the IRS instructions.

Since you cannot amend a return until the IRS processes the originally filed return ....if you did not put the 1095-A in the program prior to you filing then you really need to WAIT for the IRS letter to come asking for it and the form 8962. If you send in an amended return now it will only confuse the IRS and delay your processing even further.
