I completed my son's 2018 return and e-filed. It was rejected because "the 2017 AIG didn't match what the IRS had in their database." But my son had no income for 2017 and he didn't file. I was told to put a "0" (zero) in the field and try again. I tried this twice and still rejected. Ended up having to print and file by mail.
