I am trying to print 1099 nce forms from turbotax home and business. I have purchased preprinted forms. How do I get it to print on preprinted forms?

Sorry Turbo Tax does not print on the preprinted forms you buy. It prints the whole form.

If you don't have many to do you could copy or type it on the red preprinted forms yourself. I did that a long time ago. I went to the library and typed it. If you use the Quick Employer Forms it only efiles the 1096 and 1099s to the IRS for you. Then you can give your contractors the plain copy B.

If you have the Windows Home & Business program and use the built in W2/1099 Reported instead of the online Quick Employer Forms you are on your own for mailing to the IRS.

Yup, after a lengthy conversation with Linda at TurboTax support, it was confirmed that you cannot print onto preprinted forms. Of course, I wasted the entire day entering ALL the vendor data. Now I can't use it and I definitely don't want to use up all of my ink even to print the B copies to mail to vendors. Nope. Not gonna do it.
