Hello,

I'm hoping someone can help me answer a question regarding what form to use.. I'm not sure if its okay to use form 1040a if our combined income is over $50k? I live in michigan so I do not think I can itemize, I just want to be sure I use the best form. we do have dependents to claim as well.

There has not been a 1040A since 2017 returns. Since the tax laws changed for 2018 and beyond, everyone uses a Form 1040. (Forms 1040EZ and 1040A are gone).
