That is incorrect. You will receive the stimulus if you qualify.

@bayandlogan - worst case it will part of your 2020 tax return; there is no separate filing, it's just part of the tax return - everyone is asked questions about stimulus in the 'federal review' section of the return.... it's pretty easy (for once!). The result will be an increase in your refund (or a reduction of what you owe).

suggest waiting to the end of the month to see if the payment arrives. The federal review section asks how much you've received and will calculate what you are due from that,
