If you purchase the TurboTax premier desktop CD/Download edition to be installed on a personal computer, one state program download is included in the purchase price. If you require another state program, other than than the free download, it is available at an additional cost. The additional state program is currently $40. Price subject to change.

Go to this TurboTax website for the desktop CD/Download editions, click on the blue highlighted links 1 state download. State e-file additional - https://turbotax.intuit.com/personal-taxes/cd-download/

You can purchase additional state software only from within the TurboTax installed program. Click on Online at the top of the desktop program screen. Click on Download State

Most of the state programs are NOT functional yet so you cannot download them yet.

I'm trying to buy and download a second state program and the ONLINE / DOWNLOAD STATE takes me to a new screen that doesn't function! None of the links on the new screen work so I'm stuck and can't start or finish my second state return. Does anyone know how to fix this?

@BBW06 Yes, you can buy as many states as you need.

I wonder if it is similar to an issue I've encountered this year for TT Home & Business 2020 dload version? Two of the screens for buying another state were too large for the display and were not Windows convention compliant. These particular screens would not resize the screen with ctrl- and ctrl+, and the corners or top and bottom could not be grabbed with the cursor.

Here's my workaround:

Let's get your billing address screen
After after entering your phone number, hit <tab> 4 times
then hit <enter>.
The next screen was ok. But then comes the
Great! Let's review your order screen
Click on a non-linked area of the screen.

Hit <tab> repeatedly until the first Edit in the upper left quadrant is highlighted.

Hit <tab> 7 times, then hit <enter>

All screens after this were ok.
