TT Deluxe 2020 - Several Areas TT says "not yet ready" and come back later. When will TT be operable?

2020 TT bought Amazon Nov 2020 says TT not finished with Retirement Income section - as well as many others. Is this accurate? Or, is it a problem with my Amazon download. We NEED TT to estimate income BEFORE 12/31/20. We can't do this if TT isn't "ready" in these areas or all of the others. Can somebody please help with this?

No---you just have a very early version of the software. There are many parts of the 2020 software that still have to be updated. The IRS is still drafting new 1099R forms. After they get the forms done, the programmers have to program the software, then the IRS still has to approve the software. So you have a bit of a wait to be able to enter a 1099R into 2020's TT.

If you have desktop for 2019 then try using the "what if" feature in 2019--however it will not have any of the CARES stuff in it. Sorry.
