TurboTax "Home and Business" is download/CD software. TurboTax "Self Employed" is the online version and is not available yet. They're still saying "early December" for all online versions.

According to the moderation team, the online versions are supposed to be available today (12/2).

With no information provided, we don't know with any certainty what you are doing or what you want to do. This is an old thread from last year, so it's unclear what all you need to know.

2020 is the current tax year that people have been preparing. Are you preparing a 2020 return now, or plan to? If so, are you using (or planning to use) 2020 desktop software (CD/download) installed on your computer, or are you using (or plan to use) Online TurboTax (web version?)

You also mentioned 2019. Are you asking if the 2019 return information will transfer into a 2020 return when you start a 2020 return? If that's your concern, it will depend on your situation. How to do that depends on how you prepared the 2019 return and what you use for your 2020 return. Last year did you use 2019 desktop software or the Online web version? And how are you preparing the 2020 return (desktop software or Online TurboTax?) We can tell you more once we understand your situation.
