Hi,so my son has started making money on twitch live stream service and does he have to file taxes in 2021 tax time or can he wait till next year to file since he just started earning income?

hoew much? is he self-employed (no taxes are taken out of his pay)?

You can use the calculator at the following link on the IRS web site to see if you have to file a tax return, or if your son has to file.
