Being a modernized e-filer, they have to ability to e-file after the Oct 15 deadline.

e-file for self prepared software permanently shut down on Oct 15 for all new tax returns. If you filed before Oct 15 and were rejected or started a 2019 tax return before Oct 15, then you have until Oct 31 to finish and e-file.

TT has closed e-filing for the 2019 tax season so it can work on getting its site ready for the 2020 season. if your return is complete you can print and mail it. if not see this link

If you log in to TurboTax online you will see that if your return is started before Oct 15, you still have until Oct 31 to e-File it.
