Need to change the amount of the 2018 AGI

the 2018 AGI is incorrect and return has been rejected due to the amount not being correct but can't find a way to change the 2018 AGI please e:mail a response to [email address removed]

Nobody in this public user-to-user forum is going to e-mail you.

Just work through the menus under the FILE tab again, and when you get to the review screen elect the EDIT button next to "You have provided your identifying information (AGI) for filing" and change it there.

Note that if you amended your 2018 tax return, then the updated AGI may not be in the IRS system. So you would need to use the AGI amount *before* you amended the return.

You should also try entering a zero for the AGI if the above doesn't work.

Then if all else fails, you have no choice but to print, sign and mail the return to the IRS.

If you filed late or amended your return, your correct 2018 AGI may not be in the system.

it is a good idea to use a mailing service that will track it like UPS or certified mail. Then you will know the IRS received it.

If you used the wrong AGI, your e-file be rejected. When you get the rejection notice, correct it and re-file.
