Where is the 2018 state software (Virginia)

Has anyone had any luck downloading 2018 State software (in my case Virginia)? The download function from the desktop software to get the state software is not working. Had this same issue last year. Software says I need to turn off my firewall, which I did and it still never worked. Finally had to get someone on the phone and they posted the State software to my account so i could download it.

Have been on hold on the phone for over 2 hours (estimated wait time was 10-15 minutes).

Just wondering if A) is the state software available yet and B) where can I download it? When i go to the software page it says 2018 Home and Business (but doesn't mention state like it did before, which makes me think maybe the state software isn't avaiable yet..

Hi there,

You are correct, the state forms are not ready yet. Virginia State forms have an estimated ready date of December 20th 2018 (all dates subject to change). Hope this helps!

When will Virginia be ready to accept transmissions of completed 2018 Virginia S-Corp returns. I completed every step using the desktop software for the US and VA but when I went to submit, I got a message that said VA was not ready for it.
