Yes, TurboTax supports Microsoft Edge as a web browser.

However when using Edge to download a PDF of an online tax return, the web browser has a tendency to change the file extension from .pdf to .txt. The user can rename the file extension back to .pdf. Or the user can use another web browser such as Microsoft Internet Explorer, Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox.

My new computer is using Microsoft Edge, when I transfer 2022 turbo tax file from the Cloud, they are the Microsoft Edge PDF format which it appears TT will not transfer either when it searches for 2022 or when I browse for the file.

Tried renaming the file with a PDF extension,

Tried using Adobe reader to create a new PDF, but nothing seems to work.

Called customer support, they said go to the old computer and send an email with PDF of 2022 and "...has worked 100% of the time"), it did not work.

Any suggestions?

You cannot transfer a pdf file in to start your 2023 return. You need the tax file. If you used the CD/download, that tax file should be on your own hard drive.
