I completed my 2019 taxes on a laptop and the file is saved in one of my ONE DRIVE folders. I installed Turbotax for Business 2019 the same License code on a brand new desktop. It installed successfully but I cannot fire up the 2019 tax return. The program looks for transferring 2018 return. How can I resume with the saved 2019? Is there live help from Intuit available?

On the new computer copy the .tax2019 file to the documents/turbotax directory. This is the default location where the program expects your 2019 tax file to be.

Next, fire up the program. If you don't see it there, then in the program click FILE then OPEN, navigate to the documents\turbotax directory, select your .tax2019 file and open it.

turbo tax for business is for C-Corps, S-Corps, Partnerships and Estates and Trusts. it can not open your personal return form 1040. there is also Turbo Tax Home and Business for self-employed and it does the 1040.
